Marilson Dos Santos wins la degana
The famous local marathon runner Marilson Gomes Dos Santos won for the third time the Corrida Internacional de Sao Silvestre de Sao Paulo, the oldest one in the world, which last December 31, 2010 celebrated its 86th edition in this Brazilian city. Dos Santos, who also won in 2003 and 2005, run the distance of 15 km in 44'07" and overcame the Kenyans Barnabas Kosgei (44'49") and James Kwambai (45'15"). The also Kenyan Alice Timbilil won for the second consecutive year in feminine category with a record of 50'19", new feminine record of the race.
