The Barcelona Half Marathon in Paris and Milan
The task of promotion of the Barcelona Half Marathon 2012 rightly began in the moment that the successful 21 edition of the race finished. For this reason two delegations of the Barcelona Half Marathon travelled last weekend to Paris and Milan, cities that celebrated two important marathons, to make promotional tasks in their Runners' Fairs.
In Paris, with 32.092 participants, the Kenyan athlete Benjamin Kiptoo won with a record of 2h06'31", ahead of his compatriot Bernard Kipyego (2h07'14"). Whereas the also Kenyan Priscah Jeptoo obtained the victory with 2h22'55", followed by Agnes Kiprop. The domain of Kenya was also extended in the 11 edition of the Marathon of Milan, where Solomon Naibei (2h10'38") surpassed Ruggiero Pertile and his compatriot Daniel Too. In feminine category, the Italian Marcella Mancini (2h41'24") was the winner.
